What we collect
Account information (your name and email), the financial data you connect (account balances, transactions, recurring bills), and basic technical data needed to run the app (device type, app version, error logs).
Why we collect it
We use this information to provide Klar, keep it secure, fix problems, and improve the service.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not analyse it for purposes unrelated to providing Klar.
Bank connections
Klar connects to your bank through a regulated, read-only data connection. Your banking password is not sent to or stored by Klar. We can receive transaction data, but we cannot move money.
Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access by our team is scoped, logged, and limited to legitimate operational needs.
Your rights
You can disconnect an account, export your data, or delete your account at any time. Email hello@klarfinancial.com for help.
Children
Klar is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make an important change to this policy, we will notify you in Klar or by email.
